Text Box: NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING SERVICES Structural Steel Inspection • Structural Inspections to the requirements of CSA S16 and CSA W59 Standards (welded connections, bolted connections, columns plumb, beams, joist and girders, floor and roof deck, grating, re-bar, shear connectors, architecturally exposed structural steel, seismic systems, fabrication operations, field erection operations, review of company and personnel certifications/qualifications, surface preparation and coatings, and welding procedure review) • Visual Welding Inspections performed by CSA W178.2 Certified Welding Inspectors (Level II or Level III) • CISC Accredited Steel Inspector – Buildings • Non Destructive Testing (MT, PT, and UT) performed by CGSB Certified Welding Inspectors • Applications Including structural steel buildings, bridges, platforms, and miscellaneous steel structures Quality Assurance and Quality Control Programs • Quality assurance programs tailored to suit the needs of the client (new fabrication and repair of existing structures) • Review of project documents (structural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, special provisions, etc.) • Review of company certifications, qualifications of personnel, welding procedures, bolting procedures, surface preparation and coating procedures, etc. • Shop and field visits as required to perform review of workmanship to applicable codes, standards, specifications, shop drawings, etc. • Visual Welding Inspections performed by CSA W178.2 Certified Welding Inspectors (Level II or Level III) • Non Destructive Testing (MT, PT, and UT) performed by CGSB Certified Welding Inspectors • Applications Including structural steel buildings, bridges, miscellaneous steel or aluminum structures, piling, pipelines, watermains, industrial piping, storage tanks, mobile cranes, tower cranes, mechanical systems, and weldments. Consulting Services • Review and/or development of specifications • Review of Structural Drawings • Failure analysis • Code review and interpretation • Welding procedure development • Welding Inspection Procedure Development • Quality Verification Engineer (Engineering Service) Bridge Fatigue Inspection • Perform visual welding inspection and NDT inspection typically for consulting engineering firm. • Focus on fatigue prone details and provide detailed reporting • Provide repair welding procedures development as required Structural Inspection of Lifting Equipment • Perform structural inspection of unit to applicable code/standard including 10 and 5 year inspections for scissor lifts and man booms, annual structural inspection of mobile cranes, tower cranes, and vehicle mounted booms, and miscellaneous lifting equipment including lifting forks, cages, hooks, spreader bars, etc. • Provide guidance related to required repairs, replacement of parts, etc. • Generate Inspection sticker for unit and Engineer stamped report indicating next required inspection date
